Camera test
Click "Allow" when your browser asks for camera access. You should see your own video appear within a few seconds. If you have more than one camera connected, pick which one to use from the device menu below the preview.
Microphone test
Speak normally and watch the volume meter. The bars should move while you talk. If nothing moves, check that you picked the right microphone in the device menu, or that another program isn't already using it.
Speaker test
Click "Play test sound". If you hear it, your speakers (or headphones) are working. If you don't hear anything, check your system volume and try picking a different audio output from the device menu. On some browsers (Firefox, and Safari on iPhone/iPad) you can't switch audio output from the page itself — in that case, switch the output device in your computer's or phone's own sound settings.

No. Everything runs locally in your browser: your video and audio never leave your computer or phone, and are never recorded or sent to any server.
Do I need an account or to join a meeting to use this?

Is this test only useful for Go4Meet?
No. It tests your computer's or phone's camera, microphone, and speakers independently of any platform, so the result applies to any video call service — Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Go4Meet, or anything else.
Does it work in any browser?
The camera and microphone test works in current versions of the main browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). Switching audio output directly from the page (choosing between speakers and headphones, for example) isn't supported in Firefox or Safari on iPhone/iPad — in those cases, switch the output in your device's own sound settings.
My camera and mic passed the test, but the call still fails. Why?
This test confirms your browser can access and use your devices. Problems during an actual call can have other causes, such as an unstable internet connection, settings specific to that platform, or a permission blocked only for that other site.
